Connect and Grow is an innovative project developed by AGIC to address the dynamic needs of the African migrant community in Hamburg.

Goal
The primary goal of Connect and Grow is to strengthen AGIC’s network with African migrant communities and European organizations, enhance educational practices, leverage innovative tools, and promote European collaboration in basic education.

By achieving these objectives, the project aims to:
•⁠ ⁠Improve AGIC’s capacity to navigate migration and integration challenges.
•⁠ ⁠Establish strong partnerships with European organizations working in migration and integration.
•⁠ ⁠Facilitate knowledge and resource exchange to expand AGIC’s outreach and develop new, tailored initiatives for African migrants.

Learning from successful strategies implemented in other European cities will not inspire AGIC to adapt similar programs in Hamburg and Germany as a whole, but will help improv the accessibility and effectiveness of integration services of community organizers for for the benefit of African migrant community.

Impact
The EU-funded Erasmus project will position AGIC as a vital bridge-builder between African communities and public institutions. It will enhance support for learners by providing improved educational opportunities and integration pathways.

Through these efforts, Connect and Grow seeks to foster a more inclusive society and empower African migrants in Hamburg and Germany to thrive, while expanding AGIC’s role as a leader in addressing migration and integration issues.
